Susan Klaiber (Ph.D., FAAR) is an architectural historian based in Winterthur, Switzerland, whose work focuses on Baroque architecture in Italy, France, and Germany. Her publications include the book Guarino Guarini (Umberto Allemandi & C.), co-edited with G. Dardanello and H. A. Millon. Leon Krier

Leon Krier is considered the godfather of the New Urbanism movement. He has served as a visiting professor at Yale School of Architecture and has created masterplans for several communities, including the Prince of Wales’ New Town of Poundbury. He received the inaugural Richard H. Driehaus Architecture Prize in 2003, given by the University of Notre Dame to the architect whose work embodies the highest ideals of traditional and Classical architecture in contemporary society.

Uwe Michael Lang

Reverend Uwe Michael Lang is a priest of the Congregation of the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri in London and teaches at Mater Ecclesiae College, Saint Mary’s University, Twickenham. He is the author of Turning Towards the Lord.

Jerry W. Lawson

Jerry W. Lawson is the National Manager for U.S. EPA’s ENERGY STAR congregations program. He previously served as Executive Director for Conservation, Customer Service, Rates and Forecasting at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), a central Texas regional utility. Prior to LCRA, Lawson headed energy and water management for the City of Austin, Texas as Director for Resource Management. A native Arkansan, Lawson also served as Deputy Director for Conservation and Renewable Resources at the Arkansas state energy department.

Matthew Levering, PhD, is the Perry Family Foundation Professor of Theology at Mundelein Seminary. He serves as co-editor of the quarterly journal Nova et Vetera, and has authored and edited numerous books, including Sacrifice and Community: Jewish Offering and Christian Eucharist (Blackwell).

He has taught at Williams College, Smith College, Amherst College, Harvard University, and the Rhode Island School of Design, and is now at work on a book on photography and art history.

Ciro Lomonte

He also promotes courses for silversmiths and goldsmiths.

Christopher Longhurst

Christopher Longhurst, born in New Zealand, received his doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Angelicum University, Rome, with a specialization in theological aesthetics. He was a member of the faculty at the Marymount International School in Rome starting in 2004, and currently writes on the intersections of art and religion and works as a docent at the Papal Galleries at the Vatican Museums.

William Mahrt

William Mahrt is Associate Professor of Music at Stanford University, specializing in Medieval and Renaissance music. He is President of the Church Music Association of America and editor of its journal Sacred Music, and he conducts a chant choir which sings Gregorian Mass and Vespers with classical polyphony every Sunday.

Archbishop Francesco Marchisano

Henry M. Miller

Dr. Henry M. Miller is an historical archaeologist serving as the Maryland Heritage Scholar for the state museum of Historic St. Mary's City and directed the overall chapel reconstruction effort. A book on the entire project is under preparation and visitors are welcome to tour the site as part of the Historic St. Mary's City museum.
